Absolutely awful experience with Dr Inyang Etukudo. I have been coming to this clinic for years and have never had a problem until this appointment. From the moment I walked in she seemed annoyed and in a bad mood. She took two phone calls during my appointment which I didn't mind, but after the second one it felt like all that frustration got taken out on me. I was there to get a letter for medications I've been taking since 2021 so I can take them overseas, plus some repeat scripts. She couldn't find some of the medications on the system and kept telling me there was "nothing there" and that I should have brought proof with me. The whole thing made me feel like she thought I was lying. How is that my fault? Patients don't manage the clinic's records. The worst part was when I asked for a script for another medication. She misheard what I said, immediately started shaking her head and saying no, and told me it was an addictive drug. She didn't repeat the medication name back to me, didn't ask me to spell it, didn't clarify anything. Just straight away acted like I was asking for something inappropriate. I felt so embarrassed sitting there. It genuinely made me feel like I was being treated like some sort of drug seeker when all she had done was misunderstand me. Then later she realised she had the wrong medication and blamed it on my pronunciation instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding. Every time there was confusion she seemed to get more irritated rather than trying to help. I got so nervous that I started struggling to explain myself properly, which only seemed to make her even ruder. I had booked a long consultation because I had a few things to discuss. When I later asked for another script she got annoyed and told me I should have said everything at the start because I was making her go back and forth and wasting time. I also asked about my upcoming trip to Malaysia because my university and health advisor meeting for the trip specifically told us to speak to our doctor about travel health. Instead of helping, I felt like I was being told off for not coming in earlier, even though I told her I couldn't come in earlier. There are many personal reasons why someone can't just do everything sooner, I had a lot going on and I explained that to her. When I asked questions about the medication she prescribed for typhoid, she just kept repeating "it's for typhoid" rather than actually explaining anything. I didn't understand it even leaving she just kept saying "it's for typhoid" for any question I asked, I didn't even understand what the symptoms were if I was to get it without the vaccination tablet or how people get it. I've never left a doctor's appointment feeling so upset. I sat in my car afterwards trying to process what had happened and ended up crying on the drive home. I had to explain to my partner on the phone because I couldn't understand why she was so mean and I had to get him to Google the prescription because she didn't explain the tablets or if it would be effective or not given my time delay. Based on my experience, Dr Etukudo was rude, dismissive, impatient and showed very little compassion. I would never book with her again and hope she changes the way she conducts herself it's completely unprofessional and I feel she thought she could just be rude and her anger out on me because I'm younger, or maybe because I'm Asian it could have been that. Either way it was uncalled for and unexpected and rude.

Dr. Aisha Medhi has been my GP now for ten months and during that time she has always been ultra professional. Her diagnoses are clear, uncomplicated and direct. Most importantly she genuinely cares.

By far the WORST experience I have had at any doctor's clinic ever. The duty of care is next to none. I sat there for 5 hours with a broken foot. Watching as others were given priority ahead of me, over and over. It got to the point where I am still there, 5 hrs in, simply waiting for someone to tell me if my foot is broken or not. Front staff at Urgent Care were literally sipping tea from paper cups and a thermos, talking shit while people in the waiting room have broken bones etc. Absolutely disgusting, but it's systemic failure at a governmental level. Still don't know if my foot is broken or not, no crutches, no pain medication. Cheers. They should be punished for this.

My family and I have been attending this medical clinic for over 20 years. Our long-time family doctor was Dr. Edwin Vivares, who was always kind, caring, and attentive. Unfortunately, he retired following heart surgery. After his retirement, we continued our care at the same clinic, and I chose Dr. Angie Mitra Andjic as our new GP. Initially, I was very happy with her care and even recommended her to several members of my extended family. Recently, however, I have had to reschedule a few appointments due to either recovering from illness or work commitments. Like many people, I cannot always afford to miss work, even when I am unwell, as I have financial responsibilities and bills to pay. When my son developed what started as a common cold and progressed into a chest infection, I attempted to make an appointment for him through the clinic's app. My requests were repeatedly declined. My husband then arranged an appointment for my son on his phone app, and my son along with my husband attended the clinic on time. What followed was extremely disappointing. Despite my son being unwell and present for his scheduled appointment, Dr. Mitra Andjic refused to see him. We were informed that this was due to my previous appointment cancellations and rescheduling history. I found this decision both unprofessional and neglectful. My son was the patient in need of medical attention, yet his health concerns appeared to be disregarded because of issues unrelated to him. At a time when he was suffering from a chest infection and required medical assessment, he was effectively denied care. As a parent, I felt that his wellbeing was overlooked and that he was treated unfairly. As a family that has been loyal patients of this clinic for more than two decades, this experience was deeply upsetting. The lack of compassion and consideration shown towards a sick child was completely wrong! no child seeking medical attention should be turned away because of circumstances beyond their control. So disappointing the level of care she has for her patients!

Horrible Clinic. 1) They don’t care about you. I’ve had numerous doctors from this clinic and all them except the doctor from NZ actually genuinely care. They rush their examinations and try to limit you 10 minute windows and rush you out the door. 2) Wait times are horrible. Even if you make a book at a certain time you can end up waiting 30-60mins to still get scene. Even if you’re on time they most likely won’t be. 3) Communication between reception desk and doctors is horrible. When you have issues they’ll usually send you around and around in a loop. Reception will blame doctors and doctors will blame reception. They usually just blame each other and say things like “we don’t deal with that”. Find a better place, that will actually care for you.

My husband needed medical attention so we saw a doctor who recommended 3 new doctors that we should choose as our doctor. We came across the name Dr Parvez Hussain who was from England now residing here in Melbourne and practising at Melton Medical and Dental. From the first moment we met him I knew he would be the perfect doctor. My husband as it turned out was very sick with a failing heart and much more. Dr Hussain went over and above ensuring that my husband received the best medical care he could give him but also advised my husband that because of his condition he needed specialist help and sent letters to several specialist starting with the heart surgeon. My husband attended all his appointments and followed all their instructions taking his medications as well as following up with routine visits. Dr Hussain would contact my husband to check how he was doing but would also explain what he had received from all the specialist. There has only been one other doctor I know of who truly went that extra mile unfortunately he lives in NZ so to find another to fill his shoes was a blessing. My husband is doing so well now and that's thanks to all the specialists that have helped him get through his illness but without the intervention of Dr Hussain my husband might not be here today. Thankyou to such a wonderful caring person Dr Hussain.

I received your text message advising doctor shepherd now does online medical reports and renew prescriptions. It costs $30.00. I tried to do a vicroads health form, but I couldn't finish because both of us have to fill in the paperwork. Also, if people are sick, how can u give them a medical certificate.if you don't physically see them?

I had a really positive experience with Dr Aisha Mehdi .she took the time to listen carefully to my concerns without rushing, asked thoughtful questions, and explained everything in a clear and reassuring way. I felt genuinely heard and respected throughout the appointment. What stood out most was her professionalism combined with a warm, approachable manner it made discussing health issues much more comfortable. She also provided practical advice and made sure I understood the next steps before I left. Overall, I’d highly recommend this GP to anyone looking for attentive and compassionate care.

Just want to do a review on the physiotherapist attended me, who just wasted my medicare healthcare, the only treatment i got is one session with 2 needles on the affected area. Didnt do anything, even scared me that i wont be able to move it again. I didnt go back and continue after the five visits, i cured myself, and now i dont feel any stinging pain and im better. I feel sorry also for the old lady complaining outside on the service of the same physiotherapist. No compassion to people suffering. I do hope doctors will not recommend him as its not good reputation if your patient dont get the right treatment.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Admin/ front desk staff are utterly rude and arrogant and the doctors are always easily an hour late after your actual appointment time to call u in. There dosemt seem to be any point in making appointments

Dr Inyang Etukudo is the best doctor in Melton. I highly recommend her to care your family. She is truly amazing and helpful. Been diagnosed with several illness and never had treatments from seeing other doctors in medical centre. Dr Inyang reached out and helped my family. She looks after our family everyday we booked her in, with great patience, kindness, honesty and love. I sincerely appreciate everything you do Dr Inyang. Feels like we've know each other for years.
