At 30, I was told I needed my first fillings by Avenue dental. I went somewhere else and they were shocked, did x-rays and couldn’t even work out where Avenue dental would’ve put the filling if I went ahead with it. They must have a reputation because the dentist guessed which practice had recommended the unnecessary work. 8 years later, and I still don’t have a need for any fillings.

I highly recommend Avenue Dental, Caloundra if you’re an anxious patient or have PTSD from bad dental experiences. I’m terrible in the dentist chair and needed an emergency appointment as my crown came off on day 1 of my 5day holiday in Caloundra. Avenue Dental got me straight in, Dr Alyaa and her assistant were brilliant. They looked after me with compassion and care. Dr Alyaa is a brilliantly skilled dentist. After my root canal and new crown I was ready to hit the road. I can’t recommend Dr Alyaa and Avenue Dental highly enough.

I came in for a clean, didn’t wait long, Dr Jantz & kyra both gave exceptional patient care, it was a very professional, effective and pleasant experience. Will be back !

This is the third tooth Jantz and Kyra have worked on and it is always a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Made felt at ease with constant check-ins, and explained procedures as they occured.

Dr. Jantz and Kyra made me feel relaxed as soon as I was seen, also explained the options very clearly. Would highly recommended Avenue Dental to anyone needing any dental work done.

My Dentist and her assistant were so patient kind and caring i strongly recommend visiting this dental practice. The staff are amazing especially Tyne bubbly friendly receptionist. My dentist Tamara and her assistant Rachel have a way of relaxing you. Both are pleasant and if I had a child that was apprehensive of a dental visit I wouldn't hesitate to bring them to this practice 10/10 thanks girls

Highly recommend Dr Janz and the whole team at Avenue Dental Caloundra. The girls at reception are always so lovely, friendly and welcoming which makes such a difference the moment you walk in. Dr Janz is fantastic, very gentle, professional and easy to talk to. He explains everything clearly and really makes you feel comfortable and looked after. My son saw Dr Gladys Green today He has a phobia of dentists and i was so impressed with how she explained everything, place wet towel on his forehead when he was stressing, gave him a juice box half way through and even encouraged him to have a break and a little walk around. Gladys is absolutely the best. And, oh...my son is 33!

The most delightful team and amazing dental care

Was warmly welcomed into Avenue Dental by Tahlia and Jade and the girls made it very enjoyable for my experience. Nothing but professionalism and beautiful smiles. I was also blessed with dentist Jantz who was not only funny but super welcoming and efficient with his work. I left feeling all my concerns were covered and with my teeth feeling extremely clean and healthy thanks to Jantz. :) Definitely a great place to go if you have concerns about your teeth or need a caring dentist who will deal with any concerns

Excellent Dentist! I am visiting the Sunshine Coast for a sporting event and needed an emergency dentist. Dr Tamara, Rachel and reception staff were Amazing! The ladies treated me with so much care and respect. I booked the appointment at 7pm for 8am the next day. Highly recommend! Thank you Dr Tamara and team!! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr Gladys and dental assistant Glaidel for taking such amazing care of me over my three root canal visits + crown. I’ve always been really nervous about going to the dentist, but they completely changed that for me. It is difficult to explain just how severe my dental phobia is, based on past experiences. However, Dr Gladys and Glaidel were both so kind, gentle, and reassuring the whole time, always checking in and making sure I felt comfortable. I never felt judged or rushed, which made such a difference. I never thought I’d say this, but they made the whole experience feel calm and manageable. A special shoutout to Glaidel as well — thank you for being so lovely and supportive. Wishing you all the best on your new journey outside of dentistry, you’ll be so missed! Couldn’t recommend this team more. I will no longer dread my visits to the dentist.

I went in not realising this business is set up to max out as much money as they can from you. Two appointments later I had been quoted $4500 for 13 fillings! Lol I don't smoke I'm under 40(went to a different dentist 8 months before with no fillings required) then they proceed to try and talk about straightening for astheticss so trying to upsell LOL without me asking for it. I went to a different dentist with the quote and X rays, to start the showed me the X rays were not clear and compared them to the ones they took I could see the difference easily. Then they told me I need ONE non urgent filling and can't understand the other qoute and how they would justify doing all that and wanting to drill out mild cavities to fill that just need to be watched not drilled out perfectly good tooth. The reception was nice the place is nice the dentist was nice and professional I think they are just doing their job. But this place isn't for everyone. I wish I knew before I wasted my time and my health fund.

On holidays and needed an appointment in a hurry. I was seen within an hour. I was so impressed with the surgery, reception staff and dentist Alya that after the urgent appointment, I went back for an examination and assessment regarding future ongoing issues. I learnt a lot, everything was explained and options suggested. I would recommend them to anyone who lives here. If I did, I'd certainly be back. Went in as a new patient, just after a clean (already had x-rays etc elsewhere) Gladys did an amazing clean, felt no pain on sensitive areas.Was in and out pretty quick.Happy days.
