Bayview Dental Centre Runaway Bay

I have been going to Bayview Dental Centre for about three years now and I genuinely cannot fault them. Dr Joy Lee did my implant last year and the result is absolutely perfect. You cannot tell it apart from my natural teeth. The whole process was explained thoroughly at each appointment and I never felt rushed or pressured. The Runaway Bay location is easy to find on Bayview Street and there is plenty of street parking nearby. The reception staff are always friendly and efficient. Five stars without hesitation.

Had a scale and clean plus a couple of fillings done by Dr Timothy Achterberg last week. He is incredibly gentle and took the time to explain exactly what he was doing at every step. I have always been a bit anxious about dentists but the team here put me completely at ease. The clinic itself is modern and very clean. They were running pretty much on time too, which I appreciate as I had to get back to work. Will definitely be back for my six-month check-up.

Dr Mikki Carleton has been looking after my smile for about eighteen months now and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I had composite bonding done on my front two teeth and veneers on the adjacent ones. The cosmetic work looks completely natural and I get compliments on my teeth all the time now. Mikki has such a good eye for aesthetics and genuinely listens to what you are after. The practice is clean, modern, and the staff are all lovely. Highly worth the drive from Coomera.

Generally a very good practice. I saw Dr Lay Lim for my son's first dental visit and she was brilliant with him, very patient and engaging. He came out smiling which says it all really. My only minor gripe is that the waiting room was a bit crowded when we arrived and we waited about fifteen minutes past our appointment time. Not the end of the world but worth noting. Overall though the quality of care here is excellent and we will continue coming back.

I needed an emergency appointment after cracking a tooth on the weekend and Bayview Dental Centre managed to fit me in on the Monday morning which was a huge relief. Dr Manahil Khan assessed me straight away and we discussed options. I ended up getting a crown placed using their CEREC system so it was all done in one visit. I was absolutely amazed. The pain was minimal and the crown fits perfectly. So grateful for the prompt and professional care. This is now my regular dentist.

First visit to Bayview Dental Centre today for a full check-up and x-rays. I saw Dr Victoria Zhou who was thorough, professional, and very easy to talk to. She identified a small cavity I was not even aware of and we sorted out a plan to address it at the next visit. The practice is spotlessly clean and the equipment looks very up to date. I was seen within five minutes of my appointment time. Really happy I switched from my old dentist on the south side. Much closer to home in Runaway Bay too.

I started my Invisalign journey with Dr Mikki Carleton about eight months ago and I am already seeing incredible results. Mikki is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about orthodontic treatment and the regular check-ins keep you on track. The practice sends reminder messages which I find really helpful. The whole team at Bayview Street are warm and welcoming. I had some anxiety about the process but it has been so much smoother than expected. Looking forward to seeing the final result.

Had my wisdom teeth out by Dr Timothy Achterberg. I was quite nervous going in but he talked me through the whole procedure and made sure I was completely numb before starting. The extractions went without a hitch and recovery was faster than I expected. He called the next day to check how I was going which I thought was a really nice touch. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful with processing my health fund claim on the spot. A genuinely caring practice.

The dentists here are skilled and I have no complaints about the clinical work. However I found the pricing a bit on the high side compared to other practices I have visited on the Gold Coast. I had a scale and clean and two fillings and the gap after my health fund paid its portion was more than I expected. I did ask upfront for a cost estimate and was given one, so no hidden surprises, but it is something to be aware of. Staff are friendly and the clinic is modern. Just worth budgeting accordingly.

Took my two kids in to see Dr Lay Lim for their check-ups and fissure sealants. She is absolutely wonderful with children, very calm and fun and explains everything in a way that kids understand. My eight year old who is normally quite fearful of dentists was completely at ease. The practice has a nice waiting area and the team were great at keeping the kids entertained. Best dental practice on the northern Gold Coast in my opinion. I have tried a few over the years and Bayview Dental Centre stands out for the quality of their work and the patient experience. The Saturday morning hours are a lifesaver for those of us who work Monday to Friday. Dr Mikki Carleton did composite bonding on my front teeth and the result is fantastic. Overall a very good practice. I have been a patient for about a year and the clinical care is excellent. My one observation is that the car park behind the building can get quite full during peak times and I have occasionally had to park on the street. Not a major issue but worth planning ahead if you have an appointment in the middle of the day. Dr Achterberg is great, very thorough and explains things clearly. The reception staff are efficient and friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Dr Joy Lee recently completed a full mouth reconstruction for me involving implants, crowns, and a partial denture. The planning and execution were meticulous and the result is life-changing. Visited Bayview Dental Centre for teeth whitening and was very happy with the outcome. Dr Victoria Zhou advised on take-home whitening trays and the results after two weeks were impressive. She was straightforward about expectations which I appreciated as some places tend to oversell whitening. The clinic is modern and very clean. Check-in was smooth and I was seen right on time. Good value for the level of service received. Will return for my routine check-up and clean in a few months.

I had been putting off a large amount of dental work for several years and finally came in to Bayview Dental Centre after a recommendation from a colleague. Dr Joy Lee did a comprehensive assessment and came up with a phased treatment plan that made the whole thing feel manageable. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. I am about halfway through my treatment plan now and the improvement is already significant. The whole team are great to deal with. Cannot believe I waited so long.

Dr Manahil Khan fitted a mouthguard for me for grinding and it has made such a difference to my sleep and my jaw pain. He took the time to explain the link between grinding and jaw discomfort which I found really helpful. The mouthguard was ready quickly and fits perfectly. The practice is clean and well-equipped and the staff are all very professional. I also saw Dr Zhou for a clean and check-up on the same visit which was efficient. Great practice, happy to be a patient here.

Had a gum disease consultation with Dr Timothy Achterberg who was thorough and very informative. He explained the stages of gum disease, what my current situation meant, and set out a clear treatment plan. The deep clean that followed was as comfortable as possible given the nature of the procedure. He was careful, methodical, and checked in regularly to ensure I was okay. Follow-up appointments were easy to book and the team are very accommodating with scheduling. I feel very well cared for here.
