a day agoIn November 2025 I met the amazing team at Dental Care Carnegie. I have dental phobia and needed help. The entire team have been so incredibly kind, gentle, supportive and compassionate over the months as I had extensive treatment. In collaboration with Dr Barry (Dental Sedation Victoria), Dr Alex and the entire DCC team have restored my confidence and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for doing what you do.

2 days agoReally terrible experience. Would not recommend visiting. I’m not someone who leaves negative reviews. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written. However, my experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. I attended this clinic because it was open on a Sunday and I needed a replacement for my broken upper retainer. During a very brief consultation, I was advised I needed a night guard and was quoted $528. I paid a deposit and was later told I would need an additional consultation and clean with collection, something that was never made clear from the beginning and would have influenced my decision to proceed. I later received a text advising my appliance was ready. When I arrived, I was unexpectedly charged an additional $198, bringing the total above the original quote. I accepted this as a communication error and maybe something I misheard? Unfortunately, when I got home, I realised I had been given a standard retainer, not the night guard I had paid for. I emailed the clinic that evening and received no response. The following day I had to call and explain the entire situation from the beginning, as though nobody had followed up on my email. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, I was told I had not collected the correct appliance and was informed I still owed another $270. After expressing my frustration, I was offered a “small discount” for the inconvenience. When I returned to collect the correct night guard, staff again seemed unaware of who I was or where my appliance was. After searching the practice, they eventually located it. The promised discount ended up being just $10. In total, what I initially believed would cost around $760 ended up costing approximately $990, along with unnecessary phone calls, follow up emails and time spent chasing a resolution. The biggest issue was not the cost. It was the poor communication, inaccurate quoting, lack of organisation, failure to follow up and lack of accountability when mistakes were made. The experience felt far more focused on billing than patient care. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this clinic.

3 days agoThis clinic is always very good to go to, friendly staff that are very accommodating. Dr Richard Phan was absolutely fantastic during my checkup. He was very thorough and took his time to understand my history to best advise on how to maintain my dental health. Would highly recommend booking him in for your next visit!

5 days agoWe needed to organise a last minute late dental appointment due to my partner having an incredibly painful tooth and the pain was spreading. They got us in last minute at 8pm at night and all the staff (receptionists, dental assistants and the dentist Nathan) made the process so easy! It was probably one of the best experiences even with a tooth extraction! My partner hates the dentist and needles and he said Nathan was the best dentist he’s ever been to and was impressed with his technique. Thanks so much guys! You’ve made a huge impression and we will be back regularly

a week agoI had an excellent experience with my dentist Dr. Hemali throughout my root canal and other dental treatments. From the initial consultation to the follow up visits, the entire process was handled with great professionalism and care. Dr. Hemali took the time to clearly explain each step, which really helped ease my anxiety. The procedure itself was far more comfortable than I expected and I always felt I was in safe and capable hands. The staff here is also very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I truly appreciate the high quality of care, appointment reminders, after care calls and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist.

a week agoI called with a dental emergency at 7:30pm on a public holiday, sure that no one would answer and I would have to go to the hospital. Not only did they answer, they had me come straight in. Every single person was so patient and kind, and did what was needed to provide me with relief and fix the problem. They closed at 8:30, we were there until 10:00. Everyone was so pleasant and calming. They set another appointment in two days to check on my healing and called in between to see if I was ok. I had never been to the practice before, and everyone couldn’t have been any nicer. They treated me like I was a long term patient. I am a timid dental patient, to find this practice in the midst of a problem was truly wonderful. I am so grateful.

a week agoI’ve been attending this dentist for a year now and I’m very impressed with the care. Everyone I’ve met from the reception team to the dentists and nurses have been fantastic. Very easy to get an appointment because they’re open 7 days a week including public holidays and there’s no surcharges for appointments outside of normal business hours! My husband had also been quoted $1000s for a wisdom tooth removal by another dentist, he saw Dr Alex for a second opinion and he was able to remove the problem tooth in the chair in no time at all for a fraction of the cost. Wish I had discovered this place sooner tbh!
