Paragon Medical + Dental Clinic Modbury

New patient here....what a great clinic . I live 5 mins away and decided to book an appt here cos my regular clinic is fully booked always when needed and i needed a dr appt asap. I couldnt believe how convienient to have a terry white chemist right next door aswell. My appt was even right on time and the dr i saw was very nice and listened to my needs and i walked out feeling satisfied i got the advice and help i needed. Ill b changing my dr appts to this clinic in future

Ive been coming here for a few years. The waiting area is like a standard medical place. The wait time between doctors is the worst thing here though. Often even with an appointment having to wait 20+ minutes.

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff the doctors and the professional caring treatment I received. I highly recommend anyone thinking of going to a medical Clinic. This place was amazing. I felt so comfortable welcomed and looked after.

I have found that the Doctors and staff at the Paragon clinic Are soo helpful and caring. I highly recommend the Paragon.

Been going to Paragon Medical and Dental for years and have always had a good experience. It’s usually pretty easy to get an appointment and the doctors are always professional, thorough, and easy to talk to. The reception staff are amazing too always so friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome every time you walk in. Definitely recommend 😊

Absolutely terrible experience at Paragon Medical Centre Modbury. The staff were rude, disorganised and completely lacking professionalism. I waited far longer than my appointment time only to feel rushed and dismissed once I was finally seen. No empathy, poor communication and overall just an incredibly frustrating experience. The practice manager Fahim and Amy at front desk was also extremely disappointing. They came across as rude, unprofessional and like they simply did not care about patients or concerns being raised. Instead of trying to help or resolve issues, I felt completely brushed off and unheard. A medical centre should make patients feel respected and cared for, but this place did the exact opposite. I will not be returning and would not recommend it to others

Easy service, book in and sometimes have to wait longer than booked time, but great GPs. Dr Shweta is great and always polite, lovely and warm welcoming

Why book me for a 12:15 appointment if you aren’t going to see me until 1:15

So this is the second review in a couple of months The first one was definitely negative and the Medical Centre asked me if I could take it down. Had an appointment an hour ago on the phone..called the clinic and no one is answering. Very important phone call for results and work clearance in order to return urgently to work tomorrow and the doctor forgot to call.. and even if he’s going home as he finishes at 5 pm and he is calling in his sweet time that’s just not good enough. People have other appointments lives etc.honestly no one cares any more and then when you’re making a complaint to them you are made to feel like you are the bad one because you’re complaining. There is no faith any more in the system and the world.. it’s all gone kapoot

Very poor management. I have tried different doctors and wait time easily exceeds 45 minutes. Not once, not twice but as much as 4 times have been stranded and eventually had to cancel the appointment.. not recommening it to anyone.

I am very disappointed with this medical centre, especially with Dr. Mahima Singh. My wife has visited her multiple times and often comes back feeling upset after the delay appointments. This time, I decided to try for myself and booked an appointment 5 days in advance. I arrived exactly on time for my 11:30 AM appointment and informed reception, but I was left waiting for over an hour. Even after 1 hour and 15 minutes, there was no update, so I had to cancel my appointment and leave feeling very frustrated. This kind of delay without proper communication is unacceptable. Based on our experiences, I would not recommend Paragon Medical Centre, particularly Dr. Mahima Singh.

I am very happy with the friendly customer service I receive at Paragon.

My partner had a scheduled appointment today at 4:10pm on 30/3 and was not contacted by the doctor. Unfortunately, this situation has happened before. After calling the clinic, we were placed on hold with a request to stay on the line. The hold music continued uninterrupted until after 5pm, at which point a representative answered and advised that the doctor would contact us eventually. The same response provided the last time this issue arose.

The waiting times here are a joke, it’s consistent with the other reviews saying expect to wait at least an hour more than your expected booking time. Don’t come here save yourself some time.

Very dismissive

i am writing this review a bit late since lodging a formal complaint with HCSCC was dragged out due to no response. on 2 June 2025, i attended an appointment with Dr Sanjeev Sabharwal in regard to a keloid surgery which i had been preparing for. i was left distressed and in tears. Dr Sabharwal took a video recording during this consultation without my proper informed consent, and subsequently misled management by denying that this recording had taken place. i later went to rebook the appointment at the front desk just to hear that Dr Sabharwal had shunned me from ever doing any type of surgery at this medical centre. the conduct of both Dr Sabharwal and the front desk staff in handling this matter was unprofessional and caused significant emotional harm to me and distress to my family as we were and still are grieving the loss of my sister on 23rd May 2025 and was set to fly out to Melbourne that week to attend her funeral. despite my mother’s repeated attempts to resolve this issue directly with the medical centre, including multiple follow-up calls and an email sent to the practice on 27th June 2025, we have not received any response or acknowledgment of our concerns. Given the seriousness of these issues, I requested that the HCSCC investigate this matter. I seemed the following information: - A formal review of the conduct of Dr Sabharwal and the clinic staff. - Assurance that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent this from happening to other patients. - An apology acknowledging the distress caused to my daughter and our family. - Professional treatment for her keloids causing pain and interfering in her daily lifestyle. HCSCC tried to contact the medical centre repeatedly but they did not provide any of the following information therefore they have been charged and still no response. the only thing that keeps me going to the medical centre is my Dr, she understands all my concerns.

Only book Dr. Mahima if you can wait 2 hours

I have had 2 appointments with Maryam in the last 3 weeks and cannot fault her. She is friendly, intelligent, a great listener, caring and was on time both times. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. I will book there again if and when I need to

Had an iron infusion done today and it went really well! I got my script for it, then got called in by the doctor. I got treated well, they let me lay down on a bed with 2 pillows. It was very comfortable. While the infusion was happening, the doctor told me what to expect, side effects, exactly what'll happen, and gave me advice for what to do post iron infusion. Overall, I felt comfortable, reassured, and cared for. Thank you all for your wonderful service today. 🫶

Dr. Mahima Singh is an excellent doctor—professional, patient, and easy to talk to. She explained everything clearly and made me feel at ease. The reception team was also wonderful: polite, efficient, and very helpful. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Book the Appointment through Hotdoc when I came to the clinic i was told that I do not have any booking, very silly.

Recommend not to go to this clinic unless you don't have any other option. Tried couple of doctors there, I realise they are not skilled/experienced enough. Plus only go when you have at least couple of hours free as waiting times are too high. They put 10 min slots online to have full house but they cannot handle the rush. Not going there again. I know they will not care.

Prepare for an hour long wait. Complete disregard of individuals time on a working days. And most of all its not a one time thing but rather repetitive and management just doesn’t care because what else you can do, most of the places who bulk bills are same.

Partner and I have both recently used them for different things. Partner's script got sent to an app where it couldnt be processed for 38 days leaving him unmedicated for a long time unnecessarily and no support was offered by the practice, app or pharmacy. I recently attended for an iron infusion and checked the timeframes and process for receiving one. I was told I need to book in person with one of their in house GPs who will then order the infusion. Once at the appointment, I was told that I could not have the infusion as they do not provide them to pregnant women. I had said multiple times to the Indian man on reception that I was pregnant when making the booking and he did not advise me that it wasn't possible, he assured me it could be done within a day or two once I had seen the doctor. Wasted a massive chunk of my day driving all the way there and back to be told they don't do it. Very disappointing. Feels like a cash grab trying to fill appointments to get the medicare levy for patients who would otherwise not need an appointment. I will be disputing any charges with Medicare.
