Candy did my dental clean, she was very friendly, informative, and understanding of my anxiety, as it had been a while since I’d been to the dentist, Not my favourite thing to do. She did a great job, as I had been neglectful, and had a few issues. I will definitely be going back 😀

Paris and the girls out the front made the experience for my 4 year old great from the minute we walked in, he was very nervous to get a filling but these girls made him feel comfortable before he walked into the dental room for his procedure, Caitlin was absolutely amazing and very patient whilst putting the filling in, she made my son feel comfortable and guided him through what was going to happen so he felt less scared. Will definitely recommend to others. Thank you

Candy cleaned my teeth and was simple and easy

From the very beginning of my dental journey, Dr Sahand saw me—not just my teeth, but my fear, my anxiety, and everything I had been through. I was deeply anxious about dental work, and he met me with such kindness, patience, and understanding. He took the time to truly understand how my postnatal depression had affected my oral health, and supported me through it in a way that felt both gentle and therapeutic. During a time in my life where I was navigating so many personal challenges, he showed up with genuine care and compassion that went far beyond dentistry. Dr Sahand slowly built my trust, always moving at a pace that felt safe for me, guiding me step by step toward my goals. He never made me feel rushed or judged—only supported. Because of him, I now have not only healthy teeth, but a smile I feel proud of. That transformation has changed more than just how I look—it’s changed how I feel. People in my life have commented that I seem happier, lighter, and even glowing, and for the first time in a long time, I truly feel that way. What means even more to me is that our journey isn’t finished. Dr Sahand is now also helping my husband, and he will continue to be our family dentist moving forward. That, in itself, speaks to the trust and gratitude I have for him. I am so incredibly grateful to have found a dentist who didn’t just treat my teeth, but supported me as a whole person.

I can’t recommend Dr Sahand Hosseini highly enough. Over the past two years he’s completed veneers, crowns and other restorative work for me, and the whole experience has been outstanding from start to finish. From day one, his skill and attention to detail really stood out. He takes his time, explains everything clearly, and answers every question without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work and about his patients feeling comfortable and informed. The follow up after each appointment was also excellent, which gave me so much reassurance throughout the process. The results are beautiful and incredibly natural. I’ve gone from avoiding photos and hiding my smile to smiling all the time. I constantly receive compliments, but more importantly, I feel confident. It’s made a real difference to how I see myself. I used to feel anxious about going to the dentist and would put it off as long as possible. Now I feel completely at ease in the chair, so relaxed I could nearly fall asleep. That says a lot about the calm, trusting environment Dr Sahand creates. The support staff are just as lovely. They’re warm, welcoming and genuinely invested in your experience from the moment you walk in. I’m so grateful for the care I’ve received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Sahand to anyone considering dental work.

My Husbands Experience My husband will do everything he can to avoid going to the dentist, but he finally went to SmileWorks Dental Clinic in Doreen. He was so impressed with Dr Valeriia for her patience, expertise, and her ability to explain in a caring, understanding manner. She certainly turned a stressful situation into a positive experience and believe it or not, he is looking forward to going back to have more work done. I also want to give a huge thankyou to Amanda and Paris. They were so incredibly helpful in arranging a suitable appointment time and also, their understanding in the urgency of my husband's situation. My husband was' singing their praise's' all the way home. I am so grateful, and I thank each of you for doing an outstanding job. Look forward to seeing you all again soon. My mum visited SmileWorks Dental Doreen initially because one of her teeth needed to be removed (to be honest we don’t know if it actually needed to be removed or could’ve been fixed by any other way). I give the two stars only because there were no issues with this procedure. However, after a checkup, my mum was told that many of her teeth are in a bad condition; and after each visit, she was made aware of a new issue with her teeth/gum. She was told that she may need to spend around $6000-$7000 to fix these issues (apart from the implant cost for that one tooth that was removed). My mum was advised that there was a major issue with her labial frenum (both upper and lower), which needed to be surgically corrected. This was very strange to hear, as both upper and lower labial frenum look normal and no dentist has even mentioned this (my mum is 50 years old and even if there is an issue, this is not going to fix the alignment of her teeth anymore). We thought to get a second opinion, and my mum went to two different dentists for a checkup to see if her teeth really have these issues. Both of the dentists told her that her teeth look fine and she doesn’t need to do anything other than the implant which is recommended. They told her that the structure of her teeth are actually pretty good and she didn’t even need the crown or the filling at all. The dentists were shocked when they heard about the labial frenum correction, especially at her age. They mentioned that although this procedure can help with the correction of the teeth alignment, it doesn’t do much at her age, and this is not something that she has to get done. I understand that the doctor at SmileWorks may have mentioned this issue to get my mum’s teeth more aligned over time, but my mum was told about this issue as if it’s an emergency, and she was even told that she needs to get this done as soon as possible!! And when she told that the labial frenum correction, the crown she said she needed as well as the fillings would be too expensive for her, she was pushed and was offered to go on a payment plan. It turns out that she didn’t need to do any of these, and she completed her checkup and will get the implant done at another clinic. I’m writing this review for everyone to be aware and not trust everything they are told by this clinic. Regarding the doctors, I still think they are experienced, but there was a noticeable push toward unnecessary and costly procedures. It appeared the clinic prioritised revenue over patient needs.

Today was my first appointment at SmileWorks Doreen and it was very pleasant. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. I was originally only booked for a dental check up due to limited appointments available for a clean however, Dr Sahand was extremely generous with his time and offered to complete my clean for me.

I’ve been seeing Dr Val for just over a year now and couldn’t recommend her enough, anytime I talk to family and friends about my experience in getting dental implants, I always speak so highly of her. My family has been going to SmileWorks since it opened many years ago. The staff are always warm and welcoming, and they provide a great service. I’ve been seeing Yusra & Dr. Sahand for my appointments, and they are both very professional. My kids have their appointments with Candy and Tanya and always feel at ease. My experience at SmileWorks Dental was very pleasant. As I entered the building I was greeted by Megan who smiled and welcomed me in. Checking in with Megan was simple and effortless. I was then graciously greeted by Tanya who showed me to the room I was going to be in. Tanya explained the procedure in detail, ensuring I understood everything that was going to happen and that she would re explain as we went along. She was very thorough and kind. I am very impressed by the level of service both Megan and Tanya provided me. I will definitely be visiting again!
