The worst dentist ever very expensive for nothing they care more about money

I highly recommend this clinic. During our consultation Dr Jolvin was extremely knowledgeable, explained treatment options clearly and answered all my questions thoroughly. The reception staff were also extremely friendly and lovely.

I came to tooth heaven today to have some tooth gems removed. Not only were they able to keep the ones that I wanted to keep but they did such a beautiful job removing the ones that I wanted gone. My teeth feel so clean…. Even if it’s a little bit strange to not feel the tooth gems there haha. They were so kind and so gentle, they were always checking in to make sure I was okay. The glue on one of my teeth was very stubborn and difficult to take off, but they did an absolutely phenomenal job. Admin were also really kind and welcoming and warm. This is the least anxious I’ve ever been at a dental clinic before!!

Pleasant; polite staff and excellent brief and debrief regarding treatment

Had an issue with a rear back tooth & on an inspection from the dentist found out there wasn’t anything that was required after doing a simple bite test & checked the X-ray .

I had an emergency dental situation. Within an hour of calling 3 days before Xmas I was sitting in the chair. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The care and work performed was outstanding.

I went today using an Emergency Dental Voucher, and I had one of the best healthcare experiences of my life. I’m autistic, neurodivergent, and have trauma from past medical and dental experiences. I walked in prepared for the worst. Instead, I was treated with more care, gentleness, respect, and compassion than I ever expected — and honestly more than I thought was possible in a dental setting. 🦷 Dr Shantelle Mazai is extraordinary. Warm, approachable, emotionally intelligent, incredibly skilled, and deeply empathetic. When she gave me the local anaesthetic, I didn’t even feel the needle. Not the jab. Not the pressure. Barely even the sting. That level of gentleness and technical skill is rare. That level of compassion — choosing to learn what procedures feel like so she can treat patients better — is priceless. She even postponed her lunch break to make sure she could see me urgently. She talked me through everything, made sure I felt safe and informed, and ensured the treatment she chose would completely fit within the Emergency Dental Voucher so I wouldn’t have to pay extra. 💛 The reception staff deserve huge praise too. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They’re the ones who explained: that Tooth Heaven offers payment plans (so even if you don’t have a voucher, you can pay treatments off over time), that I could go to a community dental clinic like CoHealth to request a General Dental Voucher, and that with that voucher, I could return here for future treatment at low or no cost depending on my circumstances. They were warm, patient, and genuinely human — which matters deeply when you’re ND or anxious. 🌈 If you’re trauma-affected, autistic, sensory-sensitive, or someone who needs gentle, respectful dental care: please come here. This entire clinic is built on kindness, patience, communication, and safety. The staff are exactly the kind of people you want caring for you — people with integrity who treat you like a human being, not a problem. This is the first time in years I’ve walked out of a dentist feeling happy instead of dissociated or overwhelmed. I debated posting, but this has been sitting with me since I left my appointment this afternoon and I was left quite upset by the experience. During my appointment, the dentist described my teeth as "grotty". A word that I found unnecessarily harsh, unprofessional, and frankly, hurtful. I understand that dentists need to be honest about oral health, and I’m open to constructive feedback. However, there’s a big difference between being direct and being disrespectful. As a patient, I expect to be treated with care and professionalism. Instead I left feeling embarrassed and self conscious. Our teeth can be a major source of insecurity for some people and I would expect more tact and sensitivity from my dentist.

I went for a whitening which I've never done before. The practitioner was super friendly and professional. I really like their service and the outcome is fantastic.

Dr Jeff is the best dentist I've ever had in my whole life - he was very attentive, knowledgeable and comprehensive. I loved his PowerPoint on treatment options. The practice itself was very innovative, clean, cute (with little crochet teeth) and welcoming with modern technology. Will definitely be going back and want to make Dr Jeff my regular dentist.

Very professional practice

Very new, clean, fairly professional practice, Dr Jeff actually articulated and addressed my concerns very well. My Clean was good. But let me warn you, if you have health insurance and are financially struggling, this isn't the place for you. For my initial check up and clean including xrays it cost me $195 after the health insurance claim. Cmon now that's overly exorbitant.... no? This is Flemington / Kensington not toorak or Brighton. My previous dentist is gap fee free twice a year for my check up and cleans. If you dont want to be excessively overcharged for xrays that they do in house, make sure you make it clear you do not want any xrays done. I was looking forward to meeting jolvin, seems like quite an impressive character with all his awards and qualifications, but I can confidently say that this practice is predominantly financially motivated.
